  • Cardiovascular review, including cardiac size and contours

  • Mediastinal and hilar review with recognition of normal and abnormal findings

  • Lung field assessment:

    • Hyperlucent lung patterns

    • Lung collapse

    • Consolidation

    • Focal lung lesions

    • Interstitial lung patterns
