Cardiac MRI for Radiographers is a 1-day intensive course designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of radiographers in performing and interpreting cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR). This practical, case-based course will focus on imaging techniques, protocols, and decision-making strategies tailored specifically for cardiac MRI, helping participants gain confidence in handling cardiac imaging studies in clinical practice.
By engaging with real-world case studies and expert-led sessions, participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of the principles and applications of cardiac MRI, including anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Delivered by experienced cardiac MRI professionals, this course ensures you acquire the necessary expertise to excel in this specialised area of radiography.
By the end of this course, participants will:
➡️ Understand the role and importance of cardiac MRI in clinical practice.
➡️ Gain proficiency in cardiac MRI techniques, protocols, and patient preparation.
➡️ Learn how to identify and assess cardiac anatomy, function, and pathology.
➡️ Enhance their ability to interpret common cardiac conditions such as cardiomyopathy, myocardial infarction, and valvular heart disease.
➡️ Build confidence in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in cardiac imaging settings.
This course is designed for:
👉 Radiographers interested in specialising in cardiac MRI.
👉 Radiologic technologists seeking to expand their expertise in advanced MRI techniques.
👉 Healthcare professionals involved in cardiac imaging.
