Fellowship Overview
The Radiology Seminars Knee MRI Fellowship is an 11-week structured programme designed to take you from competent to confident in knee MRI reporting. Led by Dr. Syed Junaid alongside Dr. Imran Lasker, each week combines a focused lecture, a curated case set, a live case discussion, and a structured report exercise — so you build systematic skills and reporting fluency in parallel.
With 43 lessons spanning the full breadth of knee MRI pathology — from basic anatomy through to complex post-operative imaging — this is the most comprehensive structured knee MRI programme available in UK radiology education.
What You'll Learn
- ✓ Meniscal anatomy, tear patterns, grading, and differentials from normal variants
- ✓ Cruciate ligament assessment — ACL and PCL tears, partial tears, and associated injuries
- ✓ Collateral ligaments and posterolateral corner injuries
- ✓ Extensor mechanism and patella tendon — tendinopathy, tears, and patellofemoral pathology
- ✓ Cartilage assessment and subchondral bone marrow lesions with structured grading
- ✓ Impingement and friction syndromes of the knee
- ✓ Marrow lesions — bone contusions, stress fractures, and avascular necrosis
- ✓ Solid and cystic lesions — periarticular and intra-articular characterisation
- ✓ Post-operative MRI — graft assessment, meniscal repair, arthroplasty, and complications
- ✓ Structured knee MRI reporting with clinically actionable language
