Why This Fellowship

Does this sound familiar?

Many radiologists and trainees encounter complex neuroimaging without structured subspecialty support. This fellowship changes that.

✗  Without this fellowship
😰 Uncertain when interpreting complex brain MRI sequences and artefacts
🔍 No systematic framework for differentiating white matter pathology
📋 Struggling to report spine MRI with confidence beyond straightforward disc disease
😬 Limited exposure to rare but critical neuro pathology in a supervised setting
✓  After this fellowship
Confident, systematic approach to brain MRI interpretation across all major sequences
Clear differential framework for white matter, tumour, and vascular pathology
Structured, reproducible spine MRI reporting from cervical to lumbar
Subspecialty-level exposure through expert-supervised case discussions every week

What You'll Walk Away With

6 subspecialty competencies for neuroimaging confidence

Practical, clinical skills built month by month — applicable the morning after every session.

🧠
Brain MRI Mastery
Systematic approach to all major brain MRI sequences — DWI, FLAIR, T1, T2, SWI — and when each sequence is diagnostic.
Stroke & Vascular Imaging
Confidently identify acute infarcts, haemorrhage patterns, and vascular malformations with time-critical reporting frameworks.
🔬
Tumour Classification
Recognise primary brain tumours, metastases, and meningiomas with structured differentials and grading confidence.
🩻
Demyelinating Disease
Apply McDonald criteria in practice, differentiate MS from mimics, and report white matter changes with clinical correlation.
🦴
Spine MRI Reporting
Master cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine MRI — from degenerative disease and cord pathology to spinal tumours and infections.
📋
Structured Reporting
Build reproducible neuroradiology reporting templates aligned with best practice — clear, concise, and clinically actionable.

Fellowship Overview

The Radiology Seminars Neuroradiology Fellowship is a structured, ongoing subspecialty programme covering advanced brain and spine imaging. Led by Dr. Hisham Jaber — Specialist Neuroradiologist at the Imaging Academy of Wales — the fellowship combines regular live teaching sessions with weekly case discussions, ensuring continuous, clinically grounded learning. Members receive CPD-accredited fellowship certification upon completion and have direct access to expert faculty throughout their enrolment.

This is not a one-off course. It is a longitudinal learning community designed to take you from general radiology reporter to subspecialty-confident neuroradiologist — with the structure, support, and expert mentorship that makes the difference.

What You'll Learn

  • Systematic brain MRI interpretation across all key sequences and common artefacts
  • Stroke imaging — acute infarct patterns, haemorrhage, and DWI pitfalls
  • Brain tumour classification, grading, and post-treatment imaging
  • Demyelinating disease — MS diagnosis, differential diagnoses, and McDonald criteria in practice
  • Intracranial infection, inflammation, and rare but critical pathology
  • Spine MRI reporting — cervical, thoracic, and lumbar from degenerative to oncological
  • Neuroradiology structured reporting frameworks and clinical communication
  • Paediatric neuroimaging fundamentals for general radiologists
